After a couple of years of wanting to take a ballet class, we felt like this was a good time for Leah to start. Joy of Motion dance studio is a six block walk from our house and Ms. Sylvana is her teacher. We hope it will be a fruitful experience for her.
Unfortunately, she was the only signed up when we first arrived, but her class has now merged with another class so there are 3 little ballerinas. We're hoping more girls will sign up.
Leah has been practicing the positions she has been learning and making up a few moves of her own.
After the photo session, John insisted on showing off a few of his moves.
That last one is a diving catch, in case you were unclear.
