Bethany Beach

The Delaware beaches have become a great place to vacation for we, East Coasters.  (Who knew, eh?  I hadn't even heard of Delaware until I had a roommate in college from there.  And did I just refer to myself as an "East Coaster?")  

We went with a big group of friends from church (including Sarah, below, carrying her babes, Shalom and Naomi) and rented a huge house through Vacation Rentals By Owner.  Totally the way to go.

"Everybody's happier at the beach."

That's what Luke says everytime we head to the beach for vacation. We were in San Clemente during our month long trip to California and, as you can see by the pictures, Luke is right. Many thanks to the McManus fam for the generous use of their condo (note the amazing view) and to Pedro for his excellent rolled tacos (note the amazing guacamole.)
